Hello everyone!
So today was a peaceful sort of day. Started off with a run on the treadmill and watering the garden. I always am watering the garden, but I felt good that I started running again cuz I sort of let that slip…
Then I decided to take up quilting cuz my mum bought me quilting fabric about four years ago and I never got around to it. I’m about a fourth of the way done, but since I’m not doing anything tomorrow morning, I’ll hopefully be able to get another chunk of it done.
After that, I went took my brother to his voice lesson at Assisi Heights and took a thirty minute walk around the building. Then I sat outside for ten minutes… then I listened for ten minutes… Obviously child prodigies like my brother can stay twenty minutes late cuz the rest of us normal folk don’t matter… ::pouts:: Actually, he wasn’t in that great of a mood cuz he didn’t pass his first attempted driving test, so I wasn’t that upset with him… plus he sounds really good.
Then I went to quartet rehearsal. I had forgotten how awkward it is to lug a violin, a viola, a stand, AND a folder of music, all at the same time… I think we violin/violist/quartetists need to have caddies or something like golfers… Well anyways, after we went through forty-five minutes worth of music, some vocalists (one of which was REALLY hot…) came to do stuff with the violinist and the pianist. After fifteen minutes of turning pages, I play a two minute piece and then I go home. (stupid playing in concert order)
Soooo… that’s it for now. I’m going to keep quilting/chipping away at the large stack of books I’ve accumulated this week.
